Recently, onick optics obtained the latest news from the Damingshan Nature Reserve in cooperation. Onick solar 4G infrared camera captured the activity of the national second-level key protected wild animal leopard cat on Damingshan during the day. Let's take a look. A perfect "return of the first"! Damingshan has monitored the activity of leopard cats for the first time!

In the monitoring picture, a leopard cat with irregular black spots all over its body, big and pointed ears, and ring-shaped patterns on its tail walked leisurely in front of the camera. It is about 70 cm long and weighs about ten kilograms.

Wei Peng, director of the Copper Mine Forest Fire Prevention Station of the Guangxi Damingshan *** Nature Reserve Administration: Like leopard cats, 8 images of leopard cats of different sizes were monitored, and their living habits and places are also different, which shows that our ecological environment is also constantly improving.

Because the spots on its body are very similar to ancient copper coins, the leopard cat is also called "money cat" and is a national second-level key protected animal. It mainly inhabits mountain forests, suburban shrubs and forest edge villages, and can be distributed from low-altitude coastal areas to high mountain forests at an altitude of 3,000 meters. Leopard cats' dens are mostly in tree holes, soil holes, under stones or in stone crevices. It mainly lives on the ground, has strong climbing ability, and moves flexibly and freely on trees.

This time, Onick's solar 4G infrared camera successfully helped Guangxi Damingshan Nature Reserve to photograph the national second-level key protected animal "leopard cat"!

Onick's solar 4G infrared camera is composed of Onick AM-36 4G image transmission infrared camera + solar panel. The nature reserve feedback that the use of Onick's solar panel power is very powerful! The AM-36 4G image transmission infrared camera can be powered for up to one year without having to go to the reserve to replace the battery, which is very convenient to use.

The AM-36 4G infrared camera is equipped with the Onick cloud platform processing system. It uses big data management, Internet of Things, cloud storage and other technologies to build a perception system for the integrated monitoring of the "sky and ground" of the protected area. It can realize all-weather monitoring by mobile APP and Internet of Things, and build a visual comprehensive supervision platform for protected areas.

Now, the project has become a demonstration project of Guangxi Damingshan Nature Reserve! The onick solar 4G infrared camera provides data support for the ecological environment supervision capacity building of the Damingshan Nature Reserve and the ecological value assessment and ecological diversity of the reserve.
