1. Working mode

After the instrument is powered on, the default measurement parameters of Mode 1 (Mode1) are: the gate number (Gate) of the rangefinder; the straight-line distance of a single target point (SD1); the horizontal angle between the target and the instrument (INC); the horizontal distance between the target and the instrument (HD); the vertical distance between the target and the instrument (VD); the magnetic azimuth (AZ) of the target. (North is zero degrees, and the angle increases clockwise)

Mode 2 (Mode2) is to measure the straight-line distance and height of two targets on the vertical plane respectively; and the height difference between the two targets. A total of two distance measurements are required. The gate number (Gate) of the rangefinder; the straight-line distance of target one (SD1); the horizontal distance between target one and the instrument (HD); the straight-line distance of target two (SD1); the horizontal distance between target two and the instrument (HD); the oblique span (ML) of target one and target two; the horizontal span (ML) of target one and target two.

Mode 3 (Mode3) measures the straight-line distance and horizontal distance of any two target points in space respectively; and the oblique span and horizontal span of two target points. A total of two distance measurements are required.

2. Maintenance

The laser rangefinder is a precision optical instrument with electronic devices and must be carefully maintained.

Surface cleaning:

The rangefinder should be stored in a clean and dry environment away from light. Check the appearance of the laser rangefinder frequently. There should be no dust, dirt, grease, water vapor, mildew and rust on the outer surface. Take care of the optical lens as you would your eyes. Do not touch the optical lens with your fingers to avoid damaging the anti-reflection film of the lens. If there is dust on the surface of the lens, use a brush to brush off the dust, and use flannel or paper to wipe the camera lens to gently wipe the surface of the optical lens to avoid scratches on the lens surface.

Battery maintenance:

The battery can be charged using a dedicated charger. When not in use, the battery must be removed and stored fully charged. When the battery is not used for a long time, it should be charged every six months.

Troubleshooting and reporting:

The user's troubleshooting is limited to loading and unloading and replacing the battery. Do not easily disassemble the rangefinder casing. There is high voltage inside the instrument to avoid being injured by high voltage. There is a high-power laser inside the instrument. If you disassemble the instrument, your eyes may be damaged by the laser radiation. If you find any fault, you should report it or send it to a special maintenance department for repair.
